Chapters

During my internship at Protocol Recordings, I made the artwork for Nicky Romero's Chapters, an energetic progressive house track that many fans have been waiting on for quite some time.

For the artwork I worked on a burning book design, taking the lyrics "burning chapters" in a literal sense. This theme continued on in the video where I created several different shots of the burning book, which are also seen growing in the video as the song goes on. This effect gives a sense of progression through the music video.

I complimented the drops of the song with the visuals of flying pages, giving a sense of release once the drop happens. This felt like a good connection to the idea of "burning chapters" and starting a new one.
