The ‘Discover’ arthouse project is my 2020 graphic design exam assignment. The end goal was in short: A strong branding for an arthouse & indie movie cinema which connects directly with the target audience of 20 to 30 year olds.
Starting early May, I worked on this project during the entirety of the month and ended up presenting the final result on the 8th of June. Throughout this project, I’ve developed an art style fitting with modern day trends, the goals of the brand and the target audience of 20 to 30 year olds; Colorful, unique and refreshing. The rose red color radiates passion, while blue connects directly to art. Along with this, the illustrated look of the images comes back across all designs consistently, while keeping the images diverse.
